About Us

		This has been the descriptive challenge to our community from our first billboard campaign a few years back. We believe Crossroads can't be described, but must be experienced. Here are a few of the reasons we put it this way: At Crossroads we don't believe in "church as usual." Jesus explained to His disciples that you can't put new wine into old wineskins because it will cause them to burst. Further, you must put new wine into new wineskins. Crossroads would be what Jesus calls "new wineskins." We try new things for God--even risks, if it will connect people with God. We close things up if it doesn't work. We help people find their spiritual gift and show them how to use it. We love new ideas! At Crossroads we exist to serve you--you don't exist to serve us. We stay away from the guilt game and let God speak to people's hearts. You'll be challenged to live a growing spiritual life, but not so that you can do something for us!

At Crossroads we will help you to let the healing begin. From the first moment you pull into our parking lot you will feel accepted and affirmed. We use the Bible as our guide to life. We believe the Bible is God's personal word to you. You will be equipped to lead a successful life using the Bible as your guide.

		At Crossroads we believe in unity at the leadership tier. We work everything out! Whether it is the color of the carpet or the organization of our infrastructure--we are in unity about it. You won't experience gossip, slander or church politics. We believe the people in charge of something go into a room--work out the situation--and leave the room in agreement. The old adage "people will be people" doesn't go here. Christ is the head of the Church--the Bible is our model of behavior and has plenty to say as to how we organize ourselves.

At Crossroads we believe in a sense of urgency. Jesus left the earth saying He was coming back soon. We believe "soon" could mean today! Everything we do at Crossroads is designed with a sense of urgency to connect people with God because "soon" could mean today.

		At Crossroads we believe every person should constantly be targeting people for Christ. The reason each of us exists on this planet is to connect people with God. We should be praying for people who need God--and sharing the love of God with others. The best way to do so is to share your own testimony--or what God has done personally for you (in your own life). Sharing what God has done for you will change the lives of those around you!
