Crossroads Foundation

Crossroads Foundation      The Crossroads Foundation was created to help people who want to advance their lives, and has a vision of providing many different awards/scholarships every year. These scholarships are funded through donations made directly to the foundation, donations to the cafe', and occasional fundraisers.

The Foundation has a Board of Directors responsible to design, provide, review and approve applications. The Directors work in association with the Executive Pastor of Crossroads Community Church.

There are presently three opportunities available through the Crossroads Foundation, and gifts to any of these areas can be made at any time throughout the year.

Contact the Crossroads Community Church office at 574.875.4479 or via Email at secretary@mycrossroadscummunity.com with questions or interest in setting up a memorial scholarship award.

Polly Melser Award

This award is named in honor of an outstanding Christian lady, Polly Melser. The award varies in amount each year, and was created to honor four outstanding qualities that sum up Polly Melser’s life and personality.

  1. POSITIVE ATTITUDE: Polly was the most positive person you could meet. The most important characteristic of the recipient is someone who is up-beat and positive.
  2. A LOYAL FRIEND: Polly was a very relational person. She was always thinking of others. She would go out of her way to bring people together--and even back together.
  3. DEDICATED TO CHRISTIAN MINISTERS AND CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES: Polly was supportive and loyal to every Pastor she had and every ministry she was a part of. Her dedication to former Pastors was life long, and life changing.
  4. A COMMITTED CHRISTIAN: Polly lived a Christian life, and she lived what she believed. When she witnessed for Christ people listened to her because they loved her. She was real and sincere.

The Polly Melser Award is given through nominations to the Crossroads Foundation—not through application. The final selection is made each year by Polly’s husband, Jack Melser and Dr. Marc Royer, Lead Pastor of CCC.
